The first of the major concerts for Hyde Park 2022 has been announced and its a stellar one: Elton John’s The Farewell Yellow Brick Road!

Yes, it has been officially confirmed that Sir Elton John will be playing his final tour in London’s Hyde Park on June 2022.

With its area of 142 hectares, Hyde Park is the largest of the London Royal parks, best known for its famous “speakers corner” and where you can also find many wonderful sights, including the statue to “the boy that never grew up” and even a Royal pet cemetery.

Discover the beautiful gardens and ponds that merge with Kensington Palace, where Queen Victoria formally lived and which is now  home to HRH Prince William and Kate live with their 3 children.

The latest pandemic update – London Magical Tours

With 1 month to go until all coronavirus guidelines are officially removed in the United Kingdom on the 21st of June 2021, we take a look at the latest lockdown news:

The UK government have asked the public to remain cautious by continuing to wear masks and err on the side of caution until the full removal of restrictions, however many of the lockdown rules have now been relaxed in England, Scotland and Wales.

What are the rules now?

  • Museums, theatres and cinemas can open
  • Hotels, Hostels and Bed & Breakfasts can reopen
  • Restaurants and pubs are able to serve customers indoors and social distancing guidelines have eased.
  • People can meet in groups of up to 30 outdoors

From the 21st of June 2021 it is hoped that all legal limits on social contact will be removed.

The Royal Albert Hall set to re-open

With the nation’s lockdown drawing to a close, we are delighted to announce that the Royal Albert Hall will be re-opening from Saturday 29th of May 2021.

The historic venue has been closed to members of the general public since the start of the pandemic but will once again re-open with James Blunt being the first musical artist to perform!

The Royal Albert Hall will begin hosting a series of socially distanced shows to mark its milestone birthday. Tickets for the events will be limited to 1000 in line with government guidelines.

With all lockdowns being lifted on the 21st of June 2021, this is a great time to tour London with a private London tour and visit its historic landmarks including the Royal Albert Hall.

 

 


A Summer Time Picnic at the Palace

Summer is just around the corner and we could’nt be more excited for the sunshine in London and the warm weather!

To make things sweeter, the end of June 2021 marks the official end of the lockdown period, meaning we can all get back to some degree of normality with shops and restaurants opening. Next week on Monday 12th of April, certain services such as hairdressers and restaurants with opening outdoor seating areas will be permitted to open.

One new event that London has in store is the announcement that Buckingham Palace will be hosting picnics for the first time in its history. Thats right, members of the public will be able to enjoy the summer and dine like a royal!

From the 9th of July through to the 19th of September, visitors to the Palace will be able to freely roam the gardens and view the route filled with trees planted and named after Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. Covid safety measures will still be in place with masks and social distancing.

With Spring 2021 just around the corner, we are all looking forward to normality settling in London and across the United Kingdom.

Here is the roadmap to lifting lockdown in the UK. We have checked off schools opening on the 8th of March and next up is Step One B:

Here in London we are excited that shops and restaurants will once again be open in just over a months time on the 12th of April 2021. These next few months look very promising when it comes to easing restrictions and we could be more excited to see you all very soon.
