A Lovely London Magical Tours Review from our friends from New York

We hope everyone is doing well during the current climate.

Every year we receive thousands of comments from happy visitors from across the globe that visit the UK on our group and private London tours.  Many are featured in the customer comments section of the main London Magical Tours website. Every now and then we do however receive wonderful trip reports with stories and photos to match. We only had 2 full days in London and didn’t want to waste them trying to see all the sights by ourselves so we booked a private tour with London Magical Tours. What a WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! Our tour guide made it so much fun for all of us especially our 2 teenagers. His knowledge of the history of all the places we visited truly made the experience unforgettable. From St. James Palace to the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, fish and chips in Kensington, Westminster Abbey, the London Eye and ending with high tea, we covered so much in one day. Our driver was amazing as well!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We had a memorable experience thanks to London Magical Tours!

We would like to share this fantastic piece of inspirational news:

Captain Thomas Moore, 99 years of age, completed his target of 100 laps walk around his garden here in the United Kingdom. With less than a fortnight before his 100th birthday on April 30, the fundraising walk has currently raised £14million for the National Health Service amid the Coronavirus pandemic.

The fundraising campaign was launched last Thursday, and soon hit its initial target of £1,000 within the first 24 hours. With regards to the coronavirus pandemic, he told BBC news: ‘We will get through it, at the end of the day we shall all be okay again.’

Several staff members, friends and family of London Magical Tours’ team are currently serving in the front line in hospitals across the UK. We are so proud of the efforts they are putting in to help the NHS and are all very much looking forward to seeing them and our guests return on our London tours.

London’s Nightingale Hospital – Britain’s 1st Temporary Hospital

The Nightingale Hospital (pictured above) is the UK’s first temporary hospital, created in under 2 weeks, to treat patients during this time of crisis.

Located in the east of London, The ExCel Centre will start with 500 beds open for coronavirus patients with space for up to 4,000.

It is fantastic to see such a great cause come to life in such a short period of time. With the number of cases currently increasing, temporary hospitals such as the Nightingale, are being considered across the United Kingdom.

We would like to say a big thank you to all the members of staff at the NHS and volunteers alike who are doing their utmost to serve the country during this time of need. A big thank you also to some of our members of  Magical Tours staff who are volunteering and giving their time to aid the cause as our founder Dr. Gil Cartland used to do.
