The UK government have asked the public to remain cautious by continuing to wear masks and err on the side of caution until the full removal of restrictions, however many of the lockdown rules have now been relaxed in England, Scotland and Wales.

What are the rules now?

  • Museums, theatres and cinemas can open
  • Hotels, Hostels and Bed & Breakfasts can reopen
  • Restaurants and pubs are able to serve customers indoors and social distancing guidelines have eased.
  • People can meet in groups of up to 30 outdoors

From the 21st of June 2021 it is hoped that all legal limits on social contact will be removed.

Here at London Magical Tours we are excited to see you all on a private London tour this coming season – it’s the ideal way to avoid the crowds and travel in a personal manner.

A Summer Time Picnic at the Palace

Summer is just around the corner and we could’nt be more excited for the sunshine in London and the warm weather!

To make things sweeter, the end of June 2021 marks the official end of the lockdown period, meaning we can all get back to some degree of normality with shops and restaurants opening. Next week on Monday 12th of April, certain services such as hairdressers and restaurants with opening outdoor seating areas will be permitted to open.

One new event that London has in store is the announcement that Buckingham Palace will be hosting picnics for the first time in its history. Thats right, members of the public will be able to enjoy the summer and dine like a royal!

Buckingham Palace

From the 9th of July through to the 19th of September, visitors to the Palace will be able to freely roam the gardens and view the route filled with trees planted and named after Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. Covid safety measures will still be in place with masks and social distancing.

Make sure to book your Private London Tour to visit Buckingham Palace as well as the Royal Parks including Hyde Park, Green Park, St. James’ Park and make this summer a fun one to remember.

Sandringham House is arguably one of the most famous stately homes in Norfolk, sitting within the 8,000 hectare Sandringham Estate.

New for Summer 2021, guests can enjoy an exclusive “safari” style through the grand estate in a Land Rover Defender as part of a spectacular private tour.

The 2 hour tour commences in the more formal areas of Sandringham House and Gardens, before proceeding through stunning scenery on the wider Estate. Travel through scenic tranquil areas of organic farmland and extensive forests. You will be joined by an expert guide who actually resides in the estate and who will share their knowledge of the area which is rich in wildlife including deer, hare and birds of prey.

After the tour guests are invited for a delicious Afternoon Tea, inspired by the Sandringham Estate.

Queen Elizabeth’s Birthday 2021

Queen Elizabeth is lucky enough to have two birthdays!

That’s right, Her Majesty celebrates twice a year – once for her real date of birth on the 21st of April and the second birthday is held on the 2nd week of June to commemorate the month she became Queen of England.

The Queen

The Queen will turn 95 years old this April and she has already passed Queen Victoria as the longest reigning monarch of Great Britain.

We are very much looking forward to the festivities this year and hope we can all join in to celebrate. We would like to wish Her Majesty a very happy Birthday for 2021!
