We are happy to share comments from our younger visitors who visited London with London Magical Tours in recent weeks.

Our tours of London and the surrounding cities are made even more enjoyable by children visitors and we love to hear what they enjoyed during their tours.

On our VIP London Tours, London Magical Tours provides specialised tour guides that interact with children through games and activities, turning learning and education into a fun and memorable experience.  Prizes are handed out at the end of the tour to whoever who participated the most and the best are entered into our annual award competitions, where bigger prizes are awarded.

Mothers Day 2015

Screen Shot 2015-05-10 at 10.19.32

Did you know that Mothers Day (Mothering Sunday) in Great Britain is celebrated in March? Whereas in the USA and other parts of the world including South America, Mothers Day is celebrated during the month of May. In fact mother’s day (which originates from way back in 1908 when Anna Jarvis decided to have a memorial for the passing of her mother) is also celebrated during the months of June (in Mongolia), July (if you are in South Sudan), August (if you are in Costa Rica or Thailand) and during the months of October to December, depending on which part of the world you are in!

The term “Mothering Sunday” in fact refers to the celebration which occurs on the 4th Sunday of Lent and is a holiday celebrated by the Catholic and Protestant Church in Europe, whereby we honour our mothers by celebrating and giving them presents. In Great Britain, Mothering Sunday is celebrated in the same way as it is in other parts of the world.

If you would really like to spoil mum, “mothers day” should be celebrate every day. Why not go out of your way to treat her to a day out in London? If it feels like you have already taken her to the theatre or the Royal Chelsea flower show, why not opt for something a little different?

London Magical Tours provides a fantastic way to spoil mum. Book a day out in London this mothers day and treat mum to the sights of the capital followed by traditional high english tea with London Magical Tours.
